They’re also very close to the TART trail, so guest can rent bikes from Einstein Cycles and cruise downtown safely and in style. The Grand Beach and Sugar Beach Hotels are located right on the water of East Bay, and offer guests their own private beaches. The Cambria Suites is located just a little over a mile from downtown and is known for having an incredible in-house bar. There are many high-quality accommodations in Traverse City that won’t infringe on your Pinot Grigio budget. If you’d rather spend your money on experiences or wine than rooms, you’re in luck. Rooms start at about $275 a night during the summer months, but are well worth the price, given the views, close proximity to first-class shopping and restaurants that guests enjoy. Located in the newly renovated Warehouse District, Hotel Indigo drew the worries of the locals when it was proposed and being built. Summer rates vary, but look to spend $200 per night or more during the summer months. Everyone who has visited Traverse City knows that the ability to walk downtown, versus fighting traffic and finding parking, is a luxury worth looking into. Guests couldn’t be closer to the restaurants, bars, beaches and events taking place in TC. ![]() Located in the heart of downtown Traverse City, the Park Place offers stunning views of our little town that few other venues can boast of. Stay Downtown Traverse Cityįew images are more recognizable as distinctly Traverse City as the green roof that adorns the top of the Park Place Hotel. Rooms are affordable, clean, and updated to provide modern comfort in a historic setting. Guests are just down the road from the equally historic Mission Point Lighthouse, which is an excellent place for a photo op or to just relax and take in Grand Traverse Bay. Located very near the northern-most point on Old Mission, guests enjoy a breathtaking drive to arrive at the Inn, and more stunning views during their stay, as East Bay’s shimmering waters are visible throughout most of the property. Old Mission Inn was built in 1869 and is one of the many historical landmarks in the area. Surrounded by the many vineyards on the peninsula, and it’s truly incredible place to stay on the Old Mission Peninsula.Ī few miles north on Old Mission Peninsula is Traverse City’s oldest hotel. Room rates are incredibly affordable, and you can rent the entire Inn for corporate retreats. They also have a beautiful yoga studio indoors for less than perfect days. If you’re a yoga enthusiast, don’t miss out on the opportunity to take part in outdoor classes all summer long. It’s has a quiet, tranquil setting that’s perfect for those looking for a bit of peace and quiet. Located about five miles out onto the Old Mission Peninsula, Neahtawanta Inn and Retreat Center is an excellent place to getaway.
